A simple idea originating from a shared passion together with a tight knit baking community became the start of a proud family run business.
The Bakers Warehouse story began in a garage primarily sourcing the finest ingredients for the Home Industry Market.
Original owners Irene Papadopoulos and her daughter Angie Manias started the business in 1999 and sold the business to Ian and Kathy Buck in 2018.
Continuing their philosophy of offering the best products at the best possible prices whilst leaning on their shared history of running businesses together, Ian and Kathy hope to take the business in new and exciting directions.
We source our products locally and internationally to ensure the widest range of quality ingredients and equipment.
Situated in the heart of Sandton, The Bakers Warehouse is conveniently located to service North, South, East, and West! With our nifty Bakers-mobile we deliver locally and courier nationally.
Our dedicated team, headed by Greek Goddess Vasso and supported by AbFab Lilly Flower, Print Master Shelley and Marvelous Melissa are at your service to see to your every baking need!
The back-office support team receive, dispatch, decant and give order to the multiple lines that come in and out of the shop!
We are proudly South African as we believe Local is the new Loyal!
